Introduction to the AS9100 . standard

AS9100 is an International Quality Management System standard for the Aviation, Aerospace and Defense (AS&D) industry, created by  IAQG.

This standard provides suppliers with the “requirements” to establish and maintain a comprehensive quality system to provide safe and reliable products to the Aviation, Space and Defense industries. .

The purpose of the international standard AS9100 is to develop a Quality Management System that:

• Improve customer satisfaction
• Risk management
• Improve brand reputation, increase competitive opportunities
• Reduce waste
• Continuous improvement

Acquiring AS9100 certification is a necessary condition for businesses to have the opportunity to become a supplier to the Aviation, Space and Defense industries.

Due to the prolonged impact of the Covid19 pandemic, the AS9100 certification assessment has encountered many difficulties. However, with the efforts of company members as well as NQA certification organization, Parker Processing Vietnam Co., Ltd. achieved AS9100 certification in December 2021.

We will continuously strive to improve our quality management system to meet the rigorous requirements of the Aerospace industry.
